I've been in the health and fitness industry since 2005 and have been coaching for over 20 years now. I love sharing my passion and my enthusiasm for optimal health and overall well being. As a former collegiate swimmer, I used to condition myself into thinking I had to continue to overtrain and restrict myself of all the foods I loved, because I thought this is what it took to stay in shape and to gain the respect and the love that I was looking for with myself and from others.
My health was going down hill both mentally and physically, and I hit a dark place in my life. I beat myself up mentally and physically and suffered for years with multiple injuries because of it . My hormones & metabolism hit rock bottom. We don’t need to suffer on our journey. We can love our bodies even more and still be in amazing shape in our 40s and our 50’s and beyond, and enjoy our journey without overtraining or diet-jumping or beating ourselves up.
In overcoming my own challenges I am passionate about helping women reclaim control of their bodies and yes even during peri-menopause and menopause, so they can live their most vibrant years, & feel great about themselves again inside and out through: the proper nutrition, mindset and exercise.
My late husband taught me to live life to its fullest and to go after what you want no matter what so I'm excited to be on this journey with you so you too can make the rest of your life the best of your life.
On a side note: I'm a foodie too and I love my coffee, peanut butter, sushi and gelato just to name a few. ;) I'm an animal lover as well and have two precious Persian cats at home. I look forward to getting to know you better, help you crush your goals too and keep it fun along the way! We got this!
