Hey! I’m Brandy, but most people know me as Coach B. I am a certified nutrition and fitness coach, a personal trainer, and, above all, a mother of two incredible girls. I’m from Canada!
I am here to make you one promise: I will help you FIGURE YOUR SHIT OUT.
With over 20 years of experience in the field, I have coached numerous women in navigating their journeys. I was once the fat kid at the playground. By the time I was 12, my abs were covered in stretch marks. I've gone through the cycle of losing weight repeatedly. Body image concerns have been a constant struggle for me. Despite competing in bodybuilding and gracing the stage 8 times, my relationship with my body and food has been tumultuous. For most of my adult life, I’ve feared carbs and suffered from orthorexia. I can relate to where many of you currently find yourselves.
After my last bodybuilding competition in 2014, I reached a turning point where I hit rock bottom. I've experienced the confusion that can come with nutrition struggles and poor body image. Having gone through extreme dieting, I understand the impact it can have on both the mind and body. This is why I am dedicated to helping others overcome these challenges.
Currently, I am focused on achieving balance between my personal life and my passion. I proudly refer to myself as the "queen of maintenance." By working on my relationship with food and my body, I have found a positive place in both nutrition and training, maintaining my physique and mindset for over six years!
I have experienced extreme dieting firsthand and have also coached individuals through that facet of dieting in my previous role as a bodybuilding coach. I understand the dedication needed to help clients achieve a shredded physique, as well as the sacrifices involved in attaining leanness. My training expertise is in building muscle and strength, along with the essential elements of metabolism, mindset, and nutrition required for success in this area.
I prioritize both my fitness routine and family life by managing my responsibilities as the CEO of my household. Feeling overwhelmed and keeping everything organized can be exhausting. Recognizing the importance of self-care, I make time to recharge. You'll often find me at the gym, lifting weights and doing cardio (even though it's a love-hate relationship). I prioritize nutrition to be the best wife, mom, friend, and coach I can be.
My approach for you is simple. Everything in moderation. It’s always more than macros. Reflect, lets see where you’ve been and get ya to where you want to be and MAINTAIN it!
