My name is Patti Pickrel and I am devoted to helping people figure out how to lose fat sustainably and in a way that works for THEM!

I grew up as a chubby kid that hated physical activity.  As I got older, I started dieting aggressively and exercising twice a day. I was perpetually on a diet, would get frustrated and go off the rails and then spend the next week feeling guilty about it and undereating to compensate. I repeated this cycle for years.  

I finally figured what worked for me- I enjoyed resistance training and it helped me shape my body.  I stopped thinking about exercise as a way to burn calories and started using a modest calorie deficit to lose fat.  And I quit thinking that I had to be on a diet all the time- I learned how to live, thrive and eat at proper maintenance to fuel my body.

My ultimate goal is to help everyone overcome the roadblocks in their minds and help them find a similar solution.  Your path will likely be different than mine and that’s OK!  I’m here with you every step of the way to help YOU find the eating lifestyle and exercise plan that fits into your life and one that you enjoy doing.

I’m a busy mom of two teenagers so I get what it’s like to have family obligations.  I know you don’t want to cook separate meals for you and the rest of the family and that movement and activity has to work with meeting everyone else’s needs.  I’m a certified nutrition coach who is here to help get you started and figure all of it out, one step at a time.
