If you really want to permanently rid your body of excess weight, you have to discover WHY you are over eating in the first place, and fix the problem.

Food may be your drug of choice.

Alcohol was mine.

It;s OK to feel feelings.

Food or alcohol will not make the sadness, heartache, loneliness or pain go away.

It only makes it worse.

You need to get to the root cause of why you can’t stop eating or the cycle will continue..

You need to be OK with being uncomfortable for a bit..

Instead of heading for the cupboards for the rest of the Oreos ask yourself what is really going on?

Ask yourself why you want to eat more..

Food may taste good going down but once it’s in your belly the emotions are still there.

By listening to your body, and not using food to avoid feeling uncomfortable emotions, you will start losing weight.
