The Day You Plant the Seed is Not the Day You Eat the Fruit

Listen up folks whether you want to lose fat, gain muscle, become an Olympic Gold medalist, a 7 min mile marathon runner or become President of the company you work for it will take a lot more than a week a month or even 90 days for you to get there! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

You don’t plant your seeds in the Spring and expect to have full blown fruit in a week, so why would you think it would take that time to lose all the weight you want and so on?!!

⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Put on your patience pants because this shit takes time!! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

You also have to be consistent!!!

Put in the effort⁣⁣ at least 80% of the time! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Often times I see people start a Nutrition and workout program and they are all Gung Ho the first few weeks, then start skipping workouts and stop tracking food intake.

Weeks go by and then you will workout again a couple times and track food for another week and stop again. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Now you are getting pissed because you aren’t losing any weight or gaining muscle fast enough. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Well I hate to say it but you haven’t been consistent...

You just put yourself back a bit farther from reaching your goal that much quicker. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Or you will start a Nutrition and strength program and you never miss a workout and you track everyday it’s been 30 days and you “only” lost ⁣⁣ 2 pounds and you can’t believe that’s all you’ve lost!!

What?!!!! ⁣⁣

⁣⁣ 2 lbs of fat loss a month is AMAZING!!!! If you lost 2lbs a month that’s 24 lbs in a year!!! 👏🏻👏🏻⁣⁣ Yeah a year! That’s how long this shit takes and then some!!! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

You’re looking for a quick fix... STOP that mindset. Quick fat loss doesn’t happen and when it does it’s never sustainable and won’t last. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Enjoy the process, the people you meet, the strength and confidence your gaining, the more healthy choices you are making and the better sleep you are getting. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

BE IN IT TO WIN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL!! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

WE CAN DO HARD THINGS!! ⁣⁣ ⁣

Love, Coach Beth⁣
